Please remember to ensure your child has suitable clothing, a waterproof jacket and boots in Nursery at all times, as we play outdoors come rain or shine!
Our parent Rhyme Time sessions begin on Thursday 19th September. Parents and carers are invited to join in at the end of their child’s session with our fun rhymes. Come along and enjoy sharing songs and rhymes with your child. Younger siblings welcome. AM-11.30am PM- 3pm
Each term parents are welcome to come and have a ‘Cuppa Chat’ in the Parent’s Room. Our first ‘Chat’ is on Wednesday the 9th October, for the last 45 minutes of each session we encourage you to pop in to meet some other parents, have a chat or enjoy looking at our displays and learning logs. We provide the refreshments! AM-11am PM-2.30pm
I’m sure you’ll all agree our Nursery is looking fabulous after its refurbishment over the summer holidays. We are particularly happy with the Parent’s Room, please remember this room is for you to use. Pop in, take a look at our displays or stay for a ‘cuppa and a chat’. We will keep our Notice Board up-to-date, so remember to pop in for news and upcoming events.
We are looking forward to meeting our Pre School parents at our parent consultations on the 1st and 3rd of October. Mr Huggard and Miss Doran will be sending out the appointment times.
Our afternoon children will have settling in meetings with the nursery staff the week beginning 23rd September. Times are to be confirmed.
Out and About!
Our Morning session are looking forward to their trip to The Walled Garden at Redhall on Wednesday. Thank you to everyone who is able to and had volunteered to help. Look out for photos of our day on the Learning Journals.
Our Afternoon session enjoyed at lovely walk along the canal on Friday. They enjoyed feeding the ducks, seeing the swans and admiring the barges.
Our staff are always available to chat through any concerns. They will regularly update the Learning Journals to keep you informed of your child’s progress and achievements at nursery. Please take the time to look at the journals with your child, it is a great opportunity for them to share their learning with you
